This blog will show you the most epic road trip itineraries for dream destinations on- and off-the-path, give you all tools to help you plan the perfect (road-)trip, to take beautiful travel photos, and maybe even inspire you to take a sabbatical and do more of what you love – traveling!
I launched this blog at the end of 2020, about half-way into my five-month sabbatical, with the goal of sharing all my knowledge, travel hacks, and wonderful itineraries with you, so that you can enjoy every single second of your trip without having to spend days (or weeks) researching and planning.
I am currently based in Frankfurt, Germany, working full-time in consultancy. This means, most of my traveling takes place during vacations – so my goal is to get the most out of every day.
Some years ago, my partner and I decided we want to take a sabbatical to escape our “30-days-vacation-mode”, see the world, and press “reset” our minds & souls. We spent 36 months planning and getting everything set-up to turn our dream into reality. In September 2020 we finally hit the road and set out for five months to take a break and see the world.
This time off allowed me to clear my mind, refocus, and finally take the step and set-up this travel blog, which I’ve been wanting to do for years.
Having grown up and lived in many countries all across Europe (Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Italy, the Netherlands and Germany), travelling and discovering new places has literally become a part of my DNA.
This passion led me all over the world: from studying in Bremen & Amsterdam to an internship with an NGO in Bangladesh and even working as a flight attendant for a year.
I love travel-planning and spend weeks reading up on things to do, must-see spots, and “optimizing” my travel route to get the most out of my trip.
In this blog, I want to share this passion with you and give you inspiration, advice, and travel tips on the coolest things to do, best places to stay, and foods & wines to try.
